La creación de la APERPARH - ATICO busca abordar estas problemáticas de manera integral, empoderando a los pescadores para que se conviertan en gestores de su propio negocio. Mediante la industrialización primaria, se transformará el modelo de negocio tradicional, pasando de ser simples extractores a productores con capacidad de dar valor agregado, mejorando así la calidad de vida de sus socios y sus familias.
Los socios serán parte de la toma de decisiones a través de una asamblea general y un consejo directivo elegido democráticamente.
Se implementarán sistemas de contabilidad claros y auditorías periódicas para asegurar el buen uso de los fondos.
Un porcentaje de las ganancias será reinvertido en la asociación para la mejora continua de la infraestructura, adquisición de nueva tecnología y beneficios para los socios (por ejemplo, fondo de salud, seguros, etc.).
Se creará una marca propia y se buscarán canales de distribución directos con supermercados, restaurantes y exportadores, eliminando intermediarios.
Este proyecto representa una oportunidad histórica para la comunidad pesquera de Atico, al ser la primera iniciativa de este tipo en la zona sur del Perú.
